CST Announces new Sales Representatives in Scandinavia

Computer Simulation Technology (CST) announces the appointment of AgetoMTT as sales representatives in Scandinavia.

AgetoMTT represents over 38 manufacturers within the field of RF & Microwave products and services will be distributing CST’s products in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. With offices in Sweden and Finland, AgetoMTT offers expert, local sales and support.

Computer Simulation Technology (CST), announces an increase in product sales by 27% in 2007 compared to calendar year 2006.

2007 was a successful year for CST. Besides CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® strengthening its position as market and technology leader in time domain EM field simulation, the complete technology approach to 3D EM simulation, introduced with CST STUDIO SUITE™ 2006, which allows design engineers to choose the most appropriate numerical method for their application within one user interface, was very well received by the community. Product sales of CST STUDIO SUITE increased 27% compared to calendar year 2006.

CST Announces New Workshop Series

CST announces a series of customer centric workshops focusing on high frequency system design challenges.

The series investigates how new technology will benefit designers working in the high speed data, power integrity and EMC/EMI areas, as well as on optical applications. Following some recent acquisitions, CST can now offer advanced workflows to cover all major aspects of electromagnetic system design and optimization and this new technology will be explained through a series of CST and partner customer presentations.

CST Completes Acquisition of Flomerics EM Business Line

Darmstadt, Germany, February 1st 2008, Computer Simulation Technology (CST) announces it has completed the acquisition of the Flomerics electromagnetics simulation software business including MicroStripes and FLO/EMC.

The acquisition of the business line was closed as planned on January 31st 2008, including the transfer of EM technology.

CST University Publication Award 2007 - Winners Announced

December 21st, 2007 – Computer Simulation Technology (CST), announces winners of CST University Publication Award 2007 .

The CST University Publication Award is an annual grant to university institutes and researchers for their work in the application of 3D EM field simulation. Now in this its fourth year, the quality of the publications was outstanding. Prerequisites for participation are that the papers are authored or co-authored by academic researchers, published either in scientific journals or conference proceedings, and the numerical results are entirely or in part obtained through simulation using CST software products. Submissions are evaluated on a number of criteria including originality of the application or the theory, clarity of presentation, as well as the skilful usage of CST software features.

CST Announces Acquisition of Flomerics’ EM Business Line

DARMSTADT, Germany, 20 December 2007, Computer Simulation Technology (CST) announces the acquisition of the Flomerics electromagnetics simulation software business including MicroStripes and FLO/EMC with effect from 1 January 2008.

Through this acquisition, CST will gain complementary EM technology for its customers; of particular interest is the transmission line matrix (TLM) method, as an alternative Time Domain approach. Furthermore, Flomerics’ strong position in the emc market and related specialised product features will offer new possibilities to CST’s users, also operating in this market.
