(trading symbol “AXE” on TSX-V) today announced the latest generation of integration between Acceleware’s hardware acceleration solution for CST’s market and technology leading Time Domain solver within CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® 2006B and soon to be released CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® 2008 (CST MWS).

CST - Computer Simulation Technology will be previewing the upcoming release of CST STUDIO SUITE™ version 2008, including the industry standard 3D EM Time Domain tool, CST MICROWAVE STUDIO®, at booth #735 at MTT-S IMS 2007.
Design engineers will experience a multitude of enhancements when switching to version 2008 of CST STUDIO SUITE™. Time saving additions and features will be particularly welcomed and include: project management facilities, structural parts’ availability via copy/paste or sub-model imports, and automatic software updates.
April 17th 2007, Darmstadt, Germany, Computer Simulation Technology (CST) announces CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® (CST MWS) performance increase through sophisticated imports, code optimization, and hardware acceleration.
Engineers studying signal integrity, power integrity or general EMC/EMI effects can now investigate their structures using CST’s full wave 3D EM simulator. Studies involving signal and field propagation along traces, vias, bond wires, etc., can now be conducted in their full complexity, without compromising result quality by having to introduce approximations.
CST announces the availability of CST STUDIO SUITE’s™ EM modules for Linux, including the market leading high frequency time domain simulator CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® (CST MWS).
RF design engineers involved in the electromagnetic design and optimisation of passive components such as antennas, filters and connectors, as well as those interested in signal integrity or emc effects can now choose to run their CST EM simulation solvers on Red Hat Enterprise Linux v. 3 or 4, as an alternative to the already available Microsoft Windows versions.
CST and AWR have teamed up for a joint seminar series in the US. The series will explain and demonstrate the power of combining best in class 3D passive and circuit simulation in a seamless flow for the design engineer.
Background information on 3D microwave/RF simulation and circuit simulation will be presented by both vendors, with an emphasis on areas where both tools are required including: high speed circuits and packaging, signal integrity, RF modules and active driving of passive devices.
Computer Simulation Technology (CST) announces 3rd European User Group Meeting to be held 13-14 September 2007 on Lake Tegernsee, Germany. The CST user group meeting offers an informal and enlightening environment where developers and researchers using CST STUDIO SUITE™ software tools can exchange ideas and talk with CST staff about future developments. The event is scheduled for September 13-14 and will be held in the spa town of Rottach-Egern on Lake Tegernsee, Germany.
The CST University Publication Award is an annual grant to university institutes and researchers for their work in the application of 3D EM field simulation. In this its third year, the award attracted double the number of contributions than in 2005, and the quality of the publications was outstanding. Prerequisites for participation are that the papers are authored or co-authored by academic researchers, published either in scientific journals or conference proceedings, and the numerical results are entirely or in part obtained through simulation using CST software products.
