Computer Simulation Technology (CST) enhances CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® (CST MWS)’s palette of high frequency solvers for 3D EM simulation by the addition of an Integral Equation solver, based on the Multilevel Fast Multipole Method (MLFMM). The beta version of this solver, dedicated to tackle electrically large structures, is demonstrated at EuMW 2006, booth #309.
R&D engineers dealing with electrically large structures, will be interested in CST's new Integral Equation solver based on the Multilevel Fast Multipole Method (MLFMM). It is designed to facilitate tasks like antenna placement on an airplane (or car) and radar cross section (RCS) calculations of large scattering objects.

Research and development engineers involved in the design of high frequency components, wireless communications, emc and signal integrity, will now benefit from the augmented functionality and interoperability of the latest release of CST STUDIO SUITE™ 2006B.
Computer Simulation Technology (CST) previews new tool for the 3D EM simulation of electrically large structures at MTT-S IMS 2006, booth #1329. The new Integral Equation Solver, based on the Multilevel Fast Multipole Method (MLFMM), joins CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® (CST MWS)’s Transient and Frequency Domain solvers for high frequency applications and will be available in Q3 of 2006.
CST today announces an interface between the CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® (CST MWS) simulation tool and Microwave Office (NI AWR Software) circuit design software. A prototype of the interface will be previewed at MTT-S IMS 2006, booth #1329.
CST, the IMS committee and Sonnet Software Inc. will co-host a 175th anniversary celebration of the birth of James Clerk Maxwell, founder of the field of electromagnetics, on Tuesday, June 13th at the San Francisco Marriott (located adjacent to the Moscone Convention Center).
