PDN Analyzer powered by CST allows PCB designers to easily resolve PDN issues as they arise during a board layout process without requiring physical prototypes or dedicated simulation expertise. The PDN Analyzer provides a complete PDN analysis workflow including voltage and current visualizations in Native 3D, integrated power distribution network analysis, and a fully unified design and analysis workflow in Altium Designer. This tool is available now as an extension to the Altium Designer platform, and those interested can contact the Altium sales team to get started.
Santa Clara, CA, USA, January 21, 2016: CST – Computer Simulation Technology (CST) and
Wild River Technology (WRT) present first results of their cooperation, aimed to
demonstrate the correlation of simulation and measurement for high speed digital design
at DesignCon 2016, Booth # 627.
New technologies such as DDR 4 and in particular SerDes are pushing electronics to higher speeds.
This has increased the need for 3D electromagnetic field simulation in the design process to identify
and help avoid signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) issues. To simulate devices accurately,
design engineers working in this field require accurate broadband models for interconnects and
transmission lines, which need to include effects such as conductor surface roughness and
dispersion in dielectric materials. Being able to validate the results against benchmarks increases
the engineer’s confidence in the simulation.
Darmstadt, Germany, January 12, 2016: CST – Computer Simulation Technology (CST) announces a series of webinars showing the best way to get ahead with EM simulation. These webinars will cover workflows in CST tools fora range of applications in the fields of microwaves and RF, EMC and electronic design.
The webinars will benefit both existing CST customers who want to improve or update their workflows, and engineers who would like the opportunity to see how market-leading software can be employed to simplify design tasks.
Darmstadt, Germany, December 22, 2015– Computer Simulation Technology AG (CST) has announced the winners of the CST® University Publication Award 2015, an annual prize given to university institutes and researchers for published papers involving applications of electromagnetic simulation.
The CST University Publication Award recognizes the importance of work from university researchers and academics, and grants winners extensions and upgrades to their CST STUDIO SUITE® installations.
