Darmstadt, Germany, April 18, 2013, CST - Computer Simulation Technology AG (CST) announces that shipping has begun for CST STUDIO SUITE® 2013, the latest version of their flagship product. CST STUDIO SUITE comprises a range of EM simulation tools, including the industry-leading high-frequency package CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® (CST MWS). The shipping process is expected to be completed by April 30, 2013.
CST STUDIO SUITE is widely used by engineers working in fields ranging from communications and electronics to healthcare and aviation, helping them to model electromagnetic phenomena and evaluate their designs for optimal performance. Combining high-frequency and low-frequency simulation tools alongside specialized solvers for applications such as PCBs, cables and charged particle devices, CST STUDIO SUITE can be applied to many typical engineering tasks, such as EMC/EMI evaluation, SI and PI analysis, design optimization, and the tuning of antennas and filters.
Darmstadt, Germany, April 16th, 2013, CST - Computer Simulation Technology AG (CST) announces the incorporation of its office in Bengaluru, India.
The founding of Computer Simulation Technology India Private Limited is a major milestone in CST’s operations in India. CST software products have been available in India for over a decade through official distributors Step Electronics Pvt. Ltd. and Jyoti Electronics. Employees in the newly established company will continue to work together with distributors for the sale and support of CST software products.
Optenni Ltd announces a new version of the Optenni Lab matching circuit optimization and antenna analysis software featuring a unique easy-to-use simultaneous multiport matching capability for antennas and other RF applications.
The work of an antenna engineer is becoming increasingly complex due to the growing number of radio systems, frequency bands and antennas. Especially the introduction of diversity and MIMO technologies increases the complexity of antenna design in mobile devices. At the same time, the mobile companies are striving to reduce the design times of mobile devices and to reduce the total antenna space.
Darmstadt, Germany, April 5th, 2013, CST - Computer Simulation Technology AG (CST) announces a new series of webinars to accompany the 2013 version of CST STUDIO SUITE. This series of webinars will demonstrate the new features and tools available and their application to the areas of EDA and EMC, low frequency simulation and microwaves & RF.
Presented by expert engineers, the CST STUDIO SUITE® Update Webinar Series will cover three topics, each to be held twice on the scheduled date to cater for different time zones. The webinars use hands-on application examples, and will tackle the following topics:
Darmstadt, Germany, and Champaign, IL, February 8, 2013, CST - Computer Simulation Technology AG (CST) and Delcross Technologies (Delcross) have signed a distribution agreement to make CST the authorized reseller of EMIT and Savant.
CST and Delcross are pleased to announce that Delcross Technologies’ EMIT (Electromagnetic Interference Toolkit) and Savant are now available world-wide through all CST sales channels. The software will be fully supported by CST’s skilled team of electromagnetic specialists.
EMIT analyzes multi-antenna platforms and predicts cosite interference between RF systems attached to the antennas. EMIT is able to take output data directly from CST STUDIO SUITE® and, along with other data such as parametric radio models or actual measurements, build up a complete system-level picture of potential interference problems. Once the system has been simulated, strategies for mitigating interference effects can be explored within the software.
Darmstadt, Germany, January 23rd, 2013, Computer Simulation Technology AG (CST) has signed a worldwide distribution agreement for the Optenni Lab matching circuit optimization software with Optenni Ltd.
CST is pleased to announce that the Optenni Lab™ matching circuit optimization software is now available through the global CST sales channels. Optenni Lab will be fully supported by the CST sales and technical support teams distributors worldwide.
December 6th, 2012 – Computer Simulation Technology (CST), Darmstadt, announces winners of the CST University Publication Award 2012. The CST University Publication Award is an annual grant to university institutes and researchers for work related to 3D EM field simulation applications. The winners are awarded extensions and upgrades to their CST STUDIO SUITE® installations to recognize the importance of their work and to promote further research.
There are three conditions for participation: the papers must be authored or co-authored by university researchers, they must have been published either in scientific journals or conference proceedings, and the numerical results must be entirely or in part obtained through simulations using CST software products.
Amsterdam, The Netherlands, October 29, 2012, Computer Simulation Technology (CST) will be previewing CST STUDIO SUITE 2013 and its new design environment at EuMW 2012, booth #217.
The increasingly complex tasks design engineers face today require a large number of sometimes specialised features. Simulation software vendors such as CST have enhanced their tools to accommodate these requirements. The continuously extended feature set in CST STUDIO SUITE® has resulted in an impressive number of settings and options for the engineer to choose from. CST STUDIO SUITE 2013 has undergone a major redesign in order to escort the engineer on his way through his simulation projects.
Darmstadt, Germany, August 31, 2012, Computer Simulation Technology (CST) launches a new product that analyzes PCBs with respect to EMC and SI related design rules.
Design engineers dealing with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and signal integrity (SI) of PCBs, can now employ CST BOARDCHECK™ to get a quick overview of potential problems in their layout. CST BOARDCHECK supports a multitude of popular layout formats such as CADENCE® ALLEGRO®, Zuken CR 5000, Mentor Graphics® Expedition® and ODB++, which are read-in using the sophisticated CST STUDIO SUITE® import filters.
